« back to classes page
Homesteading in Wisconsin requires planning for four very different seasons. Whether you're interested in gardening, raising backyard animals, preserving food, or becoming more self-sufficient, understanding what needs to happen can save time, money, and frustration. This introductory workshop provides a season-by-season guide to maintaining a productive homestead in Wisconsin. Participants will leave with practical tips, a yearly planning calendar, and ideas they can begin implementing immediately.
