This course prepares participants to be able to perform fire fighting functions at an advanced nationally recognized level under general supervision. This course, when taken subsequent to completion of the Firefighter I course, is designed to provide Firefighter II candidates with information needed to meet job performance requirements (JPRs) in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001, Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, Chapter 4.  Prerequisite:  Fire Fighter I Certification
