Cabernet Sauvignon and Left Bank/Right Bank Bordeaux

Participants will explore Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines from Bordeaux and Languedoc, France, and California. Cabernet Sauvignon wines are from the Left Bank of Bordeaux, while the Merlot wines are from the Right Bank of Bordeaux. We will taste and discuss the differences between Left Bank and Right Bank Bordeaux, as well as see how they compare to their California counterparts. Experience a very affordable Cabernet Sauvignon from Languedoc, France - a favorite of the instructor.  Wines you’ll taste along with the appropriate cheese: Right Bank Bordeaux, California Merlot, Left Bank Bordeaux, California Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Cabernet Sauvignon from Languedoc, France.
